This year has been a ride, no doubt.
At the beginning of the year I entered the second year of my Again and Again Book Review/Interview series, and now at the end completed the first season of the BookWorthy Podcast.
It has been a joy to share these books and authors with you this year, and I can't wait to share more amazing books in 2024 over on the BookWorthy Podcast.
In January we heard from Abby Feldkamp about her board book Wonderful Marvelous Magnificant You.
This is a delightful book with amazing illustrations and a message about what God says about us.

March we got to celebrate with Shannon Cook the release of her debut picture book, I Made the Earth. This is an amazing book that merges the importance of Earth Day and God's love for His creation, with adorable illustrations and rhyme.
Can you think of a word that rhymes with Artichoke?

In April we blasted off to the Edge of the Galaxy Devotional with Brock Eastman.
This is an exciting combination of Adventure book and Devotional, which are two things Brock is known for in his books. Your middle-grade reader will have a hard time taking this book one devotional at a time. Sounds like a good problem to me.

In May you got to come into my home and be introduced to my friend and critique buddy, Regina Stone Matthews. She is such a fun writer with great non-fiction and children's books that your kids will fall in love with.

In June we were introduced to Lola and Mary Holloman in her debut book The Anxious Lily. Mary does an amazing job of helping us visualize and understand Matthew 6. While helping kids understand this sweet verse from Jesus' sermon on the mount, but also how to take steps in understanding their own anxieties. Which has become a rising problem in young kids these days.

Then we continued with the awesome Kelli McKinney. If you haven't had the chance to check out these great interviews and books be sure to head over to the BookWorthy Podcast.
In November we continued the fun of Season One with a whole month of books.
At the end of the month, a couple of Christmas books snuck in there too. Be sure you're following BookWorthy on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube to catch all the fun.
In December we wrapped Season One of the BookWorthy Podcast with some old friends of mine. I was so thrilled to get to talk about their Christmas book and their efforts with Vision Resuce in India. Check out the full interview here.
